Why BoltWright
The shop should work
for you, too.
Commercial service is good work. Keeping track of every loose end shouldn’t be a second full-time job.
Mark Erdmann is the founder of BoltWright, software and AI for commercial HVAC service contractors. He’s building it to help owners grow a good business, look after their people and have a life outside work. He previously co-founded Pulley and is based in Calgary.
Good people ought to be able to build a good business without carrying the whole thing in their heads.
I’m building BoltWright for the owner who wants to grow a good service business without becoming the answer to every question.
There’s a lot of work around the work. The crew fixes the unit, but someone still has to get the report out, follow up on the repair and tell the customer what happened. Too often, that someone is you.
My job is to build software that earns its place in your shop. It should remember the equipment, keep track of what was promised, and carry the work forward within the rules you set. Your crew should be able to use it on a roof. You should be able to trust it when you leave the office.
I want to help you take on more good customers, look after your people and have a life outside the business. If there’s something in your day that keeps getting in the way of that, I’d like to hear about it.
