Making the move

New software.
Still your shop.

The calls won’t stop just because you’re changing software. We agree on the records to bring over, get the crew comfortable and make a clear handover.

  1. Look at the work
    you actually do.

Start with your customers, equipment, agreements and a normal job. We agree on what needs to come across, what needs cleaning up, and where your accounting system fits.

  2. Bring the records over.
    Check them together.

Review a sample of customers, sites, units, open jobs and history. Match the counts and check the details that matter. If a record can’t move cleanly, you see the gap before the switch.

  3. Run a real job
    with your crew.

Go from the assignment to the field notes, report and invoice. Try the phone without reception. Let the office make a correction. Make sure the day works for the people doing it.

  4. Make a clear handover.

Agree on the cutover date and which system owns each kind of record. Keep access to what you need from the old system. Your team knows where to do the next piece of work.

You shouldn’t have
to wonder what
made it across.

We review the move with you in plain English. Numbers reconciled, exceptions visible, and a clear owner for anything outstanding.

This is the kind of review you should expect, not a claim about a completed customer migration.

A few useful answers.

Do we have to switch everything on the first day?

No. We can plan a staged move with clear ownership for each workflow. The point is to make the transition manageable without leaving the team permanently entering the same work twice.

How long will it take?

That depends on the records and the work you’re moving. We give you a plan after reviewing the source data and the team’s needs, rather than promising a date before seeing either.

Who helps us when we get stuck?

You have a named person for the move, a practical way to get help, and a handover plan your team can follow. We agree on support and escalation arrangements before cutover.

Can we see BoltWright before preparing an export?

Absolutely. Start with a walkthrough. Bring a work order if you like, but no preparation or data export is required.

A bigger business.
And a life outside it.

Good customers. A crew you’re proud of. Fewer things following you home.
