What this page doesn’t cover
- Covers the R-410A Rebel, vintage A (DPS 003–028), which is most of the Rebels on roofs today.
- The current R-32 Rebel (vintage B, sizes 03–31, for example DPSH03BAPB2...G) uses a different, longer model layout. Daikin publishes it only as an image in IM 1370-4, so it is not decoded here yet. Its model numbers start DPS too; expect most positions to show as unknown.
- Filter quantity and face size come from the catalog's physical data by cabinet: small 003–006, medium 007–015, large 016–028. The rack has 2 in. and 4 in. tracks and ships with 2 in. MERV 8 filters; energy recovery adds more filters.
- Daikin's catalog and manual do not state a serial-number date format, so there is no serial decoder.
